How to upload nuxt app to vps server?

The essence of the question, I'm trying to upload the nuxt universal application to the vps server, I do:
1. Clone the repository from the git to the root folder,
2. I write the npm i
command 3. I write the npm run build command
4. I write the npm start command
When I type npm run build gives me this message: "sh: nuxt: command not found"
