In 1s, goods are already stored with characteristics. Those. goods of a certain color and size.
It is necessary to unload them from 1s to trade offers and not to the main catalog, in order to further compose the "product with TP" in the main catalog by hand.

you need to disable the binding to the catalog type and specify the catalog id from 1s in the external code , the
error was because binding was specified by directory type
