How to upload Excel file in MS Server Management Studio 2012?

Good evening!
I need to load an Excel file as a database in SQL Server 2012.
After I change the file format to *.mdf and load it into the program via Attach, an error appears.
How can I download such files, as well as files of other formats?

According to the description, we are talking about the 2005th version. Will it work in the 2012 version as well?
