How to upload data from an Excel document to an infoblock on a site running Bitrix without using additional modules from the Marketplace?
There is a large Excel document with data on goods and their prices, this data must be uploaded to the Bitrix infoblock once. Can you recommend how best to proceed, create an infoblock for this document, then convert the Excel document to CSV format and then upload it to the site, or is there a better option?

The easiest way is to convert excel to csv and import the data into a sales catalog. Please note that under the goods you need not just an info block, but with the function of the trade catalog turned on. Data import must be carried out through the data import menu in the store menu, and not through the info block.
