How to upgrade an SSD?

I have a DELL laptop with SSD(2280, NVMe, 128 Gb) + HDD(1TB). Windows 10.
I bought a 500 GB SSD (2280, NVMe) and now I want to upgrade the SSD. That is, remove the old one and install the new one. But with the preservation of the OS, all settings, software and other things. Simple copying won't help, UEFI won't allow it.
How to do it right?
Of the available tools - there is a second similar laptop, there is an external hard drive for 5TB.
I'm a complete lamer in the upgrade.
How do I take the old SSD out, put in the new SSD, and copy the old image from somewhere (where?)? And with what tools?

Apparently, you need to completely clone your old ssd, saving the image to a hard drive or external hard drive, and then, after replacing the ssd, restore the system from the image.
Because at the same time you cannot connect the disks, you will have to use LiveUSB solutions.
Try:

backup and restore. It is possible with built-in tools.

Google AdminPE, download, burn to a flash drive with Rufus, boot, merge the system into an image (this is important, not a direct copy) in the Image For Windows program (it's there), turn off the computer, replace the SSD, restore from the image, in the disk manager stretch the partition to the entire "area" of the disk.
