How to update the map in the navigator using an SD memory card?

Good day! I have a problem updating my MDN-2640T (Navitel) navigator.
I can't go to another city and update the navigator now, I wanted to understand how to do it myself + I would save money :)
I have an SD card (like cards for cameras). How to download an update to it? A friend said that they upload it to a USB flash drive and then the navigator will install it itself. But I can't figure out which is better.

I think you need to insert an SD card into a computer / laptop and then a shell program should be installed from it, with which you can select the necessary updates and download them to the SD card.
