How to update the firmware of Samsung Galaxy S Duos GT -D7562?

I want to update the firmware of the samsung galaxy s duos gt -s7562, I was tormented by the one that is from the official one, there are a lot of all sorts of unnecessary applications that are built-in. How to update the firmware?
Is there any alternative firmware for my device at all? I don't care that there are two SIM cards, I still want to change the firmware, even if one SIM card slot does not work.
Is it dangerous to demolish the factory firmware for someone who is a confident linux user? How can Android be built from source?

1) Keis does not update?
2) I don’t know about alternative and assembled on the knee.
3) Removed unnecessary applications via adb. I transferred the necessary ones to a flash drive and installed a link to them. True, not everyone has done so wonderfully. But it doesn't matter. In this case, the configuration can be easily restored when reinstalling the profile.

It’s better to put the official one, I didn’t put official ones on my phones - there were glitches in the process of work (either the phone didn’t ring, then the screen didn’t respond) + the battery ran out very quickly. Now I put off the firmware, though now everything is in English, but the firmware itself is much more stable and the battery lives 60% better. A Galaxy SII HD phone and a second Galaxy Note 2 phone.
