How to update information in the app in swift?

Good day! I have been studying the language not so long ago, but no matter how hard I tried, I can not find the possibility of updating information inside the application in other ways than through JSON. It would be ideal to export structured information from an EXCEL file and fit it into a grid using different VARs. Maybe there are some other options? And do they even exist? I would be grateful for any information!
