C# 7.0 was recently released. A rather stupid question arose: how to update the version and start using the innovations? Visual Studio IDE 2013.

Not for Visual Studio 2013 . You need to install Visual Studio 2017 .

I do not advise, because if you run your program on another PC, it will give an error that you will need to install newer updates to run the program.
