How to understand which code is best for development?
Hello.
I'm new to programming, but got the idea to create a portal/resource. And since I can’t do coding at all, I don’t quite understand which language I should choose to study in order to subsequently bring my idea to life on it. The difference between languages and their influence on the future product is not clear to me.
Since I don’t want to reveal all the cards, for the sake of accessibility of my question, I can say that, let’s say, I want to create a social network, but I don’t know in what language it will look like I need and how I see it. So, how to deal with this?
If there are resources for beginners with answers to a similar question or in general with the help of a beginner, then I will be grateful if you share :)

Language is a tool. In any modern language, you can do plus or minus anything.
java / ruby / php / python / go / node.js - choose any and go ahead.
java - popular, but 99.9% of enterprise projects with all their pluses and minuses
ruby - much less popular, but demand is constant, mostly startups
python - much less popular, but demand is constant, both startups and enterprise
php - wildly popular , there are various projects from "turnkey website for 2 kopecks" to startups and enterprise
go - not popular, mostly startups, wild demand in the west
node.js - moderately popular, mostly startups, wild demand in the
west the number of people writing on it
all my subjective opinion, maybe I'm wrong somewhere
Because I don't want to show all my cards
