Very similar to the overlay icon of some SVN thread or cloud storage. Do you have this whole folder (Desktop, I guess) not in the cloud or repository for an hour?

Some antivirus can put a marker like macaffe - checked-safe? They love to show their importance. I recommend to go to the "Installed programs" on the control panel, to look lately no muck has been installed on its own? Or even look for suspicious-unknown software there ...
