How to turn on the server remotely?

Hello. Tell me how to remotely turn on, restart the server. I know about WOL. But maybe there are microcontrollers (or a raspberry / arduino collective farm) that are simply built in between the power button. I hope the subject is understood. Thank you.

There are sockets with a GSM module for power control: turn off / on.

standalone server?
I remember an old bike (or maybe it really was) about a computer standing in front of the server and a hairpin attached to the outgoing sidir, which pressed power)

There is such an interesting thing as Intel vPro, you can safely buy a CPU with an S suffix, such as i7-4790S or 4770S, and a motherboard with a Q87 chipset such as ASUS Q87M - enjoy the possibility of remote administration, like on a full-fledged server with hardware KVM'om. You can look at processors / motherboards of previous generations - depending on your needs, there are even mini-itx motherboards with laptop power supplies like ASUS Q87T.

Depends on the server, you can turn on the Power state in the BIOS to 'Always on' (or something like it), set up WON (wake on lan), use iDrac, iLO, buy a droid and run it remotely.

If not branded, then google about ipmi. Many platforms have some variation on the theme.
