How to turn on an mp3 player?

I am making a toy dedicated to Cosmonautics Day. There is an old mp3 player. It is necessary that when the toy is turned on, the track is turned on.
The scheme for turning on the track is as follows:
1. The mp3 player is turned on by pressing the play button for 4 seconds
2. immediately after that, you need to press play again and the track will turn on.
There is a 3 position switch. they can be used like this:
1. Turn off the mp3 player. Just close the contacts of the play button.
2. This position can be used to turn on the player. those. you will have to wait at this position for 4 seconds.
3. The play button is pressed. contacts close for a fraction of a second to one second.
Ideally, it is necessary that the second position is not used, and the 3rd one works like this: clamping for 3-4 seconds, squeezing for 1 second, holding for 1 second and squeezing completely.
Or so:
in the second position, the contact is closed for a split second, after which the player’s power button is closed for 3-4 seconds, when the contact of the 3rd position of the switch is closed, a pause of 3-4 seconds must be maintained and a short press of the play button.
The most simple options are welcome, because. there is not enough space in the body of the toy) There are old power supplies, radios, etc., capacitors, resistors, diodes. I don’t know where I can get the relay, if there’s no way without it, then I’ll probably have to go to the store. I'm new to radio engineering, tell me who knows) thanks for the remote time
ps perhaps I will write an article on this topic, I will indicate your authorship :) the main thing is to have time before the evening
pps did it already without a player. I will probably do another one, so the scheme still does not hurt)

Just "from a stick and a rope" you cannot assemble such a switch. Either MK, or a timer, or some kind of tricky analog circuit on capacitors and transistors.
I propose an alternative option: upload some third-party firmware (for example, RockBox) to the player and set up autoplay on inclusion.
