How to turn off xscreensaver when watching online TV?
When I look in Firefox'e fullscreen, some kind of BBC, xscreensaver turns on after ten minutes. I don't want to get out of bed and move the mouse. Turn off xscreensaver manually, and turn it on after viewing. Is there a way to get rid of this?

See something in a flash or maybe there is a plug-in of a player?
I myself solved this problem with an applet for the gnomopanel, which, by clicking on it, blocked the system from switching to standby mode. But in general, in the end I found / dug out a direct link and now I'm watching in ordinary players.
If there are no ready-made solutions, then only a crutch comes to mind that would watch the network and, in case of activity in certain directions, would block the launch of the screensaver (or there is an add-on for the browser that would look at the URLs of open pages).
Google has a lot of crutches that block the screensaver if a flash is running in the browser. But this, IMHO, is a very dirty solution.
