Good day, dear forum users / programmers! I can't figure out my problem. I need my laptop to turn off music when I unplug my headphones like on android. I tried to cheat, I wanted to make the sound of the speakers 0%, and the headphones 100%. But for some reason, windows 8.1 cannot distinguish between laptop speakers and headphones. Then I tried to install the breakaway program, but it turns out that it is not compatible with windiws 8.
Any ideas for solving the problem?

I think it all depends on the software you are using and whether your laptop's sound card supports this feature.

I wanted to recommend udev, at least specify the target OS in the tags. And also software.
