We bought a philips 40pft5501/60 for our boss, but then we played it on 50 and 40pft5501/60, we wanted to make it an advertising panel, it’s not a problem to launch videos remotely from a network folder via kodi, but the problem remains that many phones have an IR port, and they can emulate remote controller.

In general, I disassembled the TV, unsoldered the IR sensor and the power button, set it to turn on via wol, closed the connection via the network to everyone except for a few allowed phones from which you can turn on Kodi, and then through the web face)
