How to translate a Unity 3d game into WebGL?
Downloaded the game engine Unity 3d latest version 5.1. Made a simple semblance of a game where the player can jump. He can't do anything else. There are no graphics in the game. Only a playable character and a piece of land under it. I decided to translate the toy into WebGL so that it can be launched in the browser. As soon as I did this, my laptop froze for about 10 minutes. After that, the game did not start.
I was shocked when I looked at the size of the game folder. 133 megabytes! Such a "game", if written from scratch using WebGL, should weigh 1500-2000 times less. Or am I doing something wrong, or what is the point of this function then? This made me very upset. I downloaded the engine just for this purpose, to make games for the web. Help to understand, please.
