How to transfer yii2 project from local server to hosting?

Made a project on yii2 advanced, developed on open server. Now you need to transfer the project to a hosting (preferably free) for testing.
I tried to just transfer the project via ftp to spaceweb hosting, but it doesn't work, it just redirects \site\ a lot.
I'm new to this, need some advice:
1. What is the best host for testing?
2. How to transfer a yii2 advanced project to the host server, are there any step-by-step instructions or tutorials?

1. Understand what server you have on the selected hosting (nginx, apache or another). From hosting - there are many good ones with a free trial period, from free for yourself, you can try heroku and its analogues (I personally did not use it).
