How to transfer word selection via hotkey to java program?

I want to implement the following: I select a word anywhere (website, pdf, ms word, etc.), press the hotkeys that I set, and this word will appear in the window of the written java (swing) program, or entered into A DB through java the program which is admissible weighs in a tray.
