How to transfer Windows server 2003 r2 to new hardware?
Hello everyone, windows server 2003 r2 was raised a long time ago, called Control, this year they wanted to transfer everything from (Controla) to new hardware .. and on the new hardware they installed Windows server 2008 r2 called it Dc01 (that is, 2 controller DC01), 2 controller was a spare .. (somehow they didn’t manage to transfer everything completely and didn’t set a priority for it ..) After the vacation, I went to work and I see 2 controller DC01 was turned off (that is, it hadn’t worked for a long time). After turning it on, the torment began, Kerberos errors arose and domain users could not log in normally with their login and password
.
2) Everything now needs to be started anew or is it possible to somehow restore DC01 (controller 2)?
Dcdiag command with Controla.
Dcdiag c
DC01 Why is DC01 listed as primary in DC01?

The first step is to make a backup, even if it is done - make another one.
Then transfer the system from the iron server to the virtual machine. And save her too.
And then on the virtual machine to make experiments.
After the above actions, I would delete DC01, raise a new second cd for 2008 and transferring all the roles to it, delete the first one for 2003. Actually, this is how I translated my cd on the 2003 server.
