How to transfer site management to the customer?

I am proficient in HTML, CSS and JS. I plan to write a site as usual in a bunch of Atom + Github. But I always made websites for myself before and didn’t think that it’s not normal to get into the code in Atom every time to correct something. Now I am planning to make a website for the customer and the question arose: how to transfer control of the site to him if he does not fumble for coding and cannot fix anything in the code?
I googled and found out about Textolite , a system for editing websites based on static HTML files. I tried it on one of the old sites of 5 pages - it does not work. The new one, which is for the customer, is planned to be 10-15 pages linked to each other by links in HTML. Has anyone tried this with textolite or can you recommend something else?

I don’t know how to work in the backend, I don’t want to work in cms (because I want my own design, not a template one), in constructors like readymag and wix, the money subscription scares me. That is, in fact, I write a site in Atom and upload it to the hosting, but the customer will not be able to edit the site, because he does not fumble in coding. You need an admin. What do you suggest? Textolite is a good thing, or will something else help me? Thanks in advance.

any CMS. Yes, you can make your own design for them.
Of course, you will have to delve into this.

You need to discover the concept of "hosting".
This is where the site is hosted.
There are also free hostings, but it's easier to buy the simplest tariff in the region of 100-200 rubles / month and have a normal hosting. You can also connect a domain to it.
Website = files located on the hosting and opened from the domain.
Transfer the site to the customer = transfer access to hosting to him. Ideally, initially hosting should be issued to the customer and paid for by him.
