How to transfer files from one computer to another via bitTorrent (on both Ubuntu)?

There are two laptops connected to a local network via Wi-Fi adhoc. Both have transmission. It is necessary to transfer about 160Gb files from one to another, and the connection can break (one laptop at the end of its life: it overheats and hangs). How to do it?

Eee. What's the problem? Create a torrent file, upload, download. You may need to force add the peer address.

1. Install a torrent tracker on one of the computers. For example, OpenTracker. You can take from me . True, there is only for Ubuntu 10.04 and 12.04, but if you have 12.10, then try installing the version for 12.04 - it should work.
2. Create a torrent file indicating the address of the tracker we created and, of course, indicating the location of the data that you want to transfer.
3. On the computer where you want to transfer these files, open the received torrent file with Transmish.

Create a torrent file without a tracker. Add to client. Let's distribute.
Add a torrent file to the second machine. Manually add a peer, such as 192.168.1.2:13654
We look at how the files are pouring.

When creating, you must specify the tracker, for example, publicbt.com
from here. If you search, you can find some other open ones.
The transfer may not go right away, wait five minutes.
