How to track the opening of a commercial offer?

Colleagues, good afternoon!
We write a commercial offer in docx and save it in pdf. Can you please tell me if it is possible to collect some kind of event with sending data on opening pdf to the studio website? I really want to receive such feedback and at the same time check the information from the words of the client.
Thank you!

Do you send commercial offers by mail?
In this case, it is possible to generate a unique download link for each client and in this way track whether the client downloaded the document (and after downloading, they usually open it right away). Here you can add goals in Google Analytics for convenience.
Or abandon PDF and stay on DOCX by adding an opening macro to the document that would knock on the address to count openings (for example, site.ru/counter). True, MS Word has a security setting that disables macros in files downloaded from the Internet.
Or, a more versatile option in DOCX without macros: add an image that is available, for example, at site.ru/image.jpeg. On the site itself, using this mask, our script is launched, which counts the new opening of the CP and returns an image that is successfully displayed in the document. In general, you can refer to a 1x1 px white dot somewhere in the corner of the document (this is how CPA affiliates work to track actions, for example).
I suspect that such a scenario will not work in PDF. Didn't check
