How to track a virus infection on Android?

I caught a small infection on the tablet by accidentally clicking on an ad. Vir changes the browser's start page to a link that redirects to the playmarket, I advertise some applications, although the home page in the browser is completely different. Well, okay, it is treated in a couple of minutes, but it became interesting.
The essence of the question: I have a malicious link, is it possible to track exactly how the infection occurs? There is a guinea pig in the face of the tablet, but solutions for the emulator are also suitable.

If you sort it out and find something interesting, let me know.
And it’s interesting for yourself, but there’s no time to dig (

Unfortunately, your link is dead and wget with the android user agent does not pull anything from there.
Do you still have an apk with a virus?
