How to throw a die in Telethon (sendDice)?

The Telegram Bot API has a sendDice method that allows you to randomly throw a die or dart into the chat.
https://core.telegram.org/bots/api#senddice
It is clear how to call it with an HTTP request to the API on behalf of the bot.
How can I call this method through Telethon, given that I am logged into Telegram as a user, not a bot?
