How to test notifications from an iframe application in classmates?
Good afternoon, the application is currently created on classmates, but has not yet been sent for moderation. Added testers and developers in the settings. We send the stream.publish and postMediatopic methods via FAPI.js, a request appears to allow posting, we allow it, classmates answer that they have accepted everything, but notifications do not appear. The same story is with sending notifications from the server via the REST API (they answer that everything is ok, but in reality nothing comes through).
In this regard, the question is how to test notifications in classmates correctly? There is a suspicion that they will actually reach only after the application has passed moderation

The stream.publish method is currently not supported, so its posts are not displayed. For the FAPI.UI.postMediatopic method, before moderation, the appearance of a pop-up with the publication is enough, for users they will appear after approving and publishing the application..
stream.publish is a deprecated API method, but it works fine for me so far using the Flash API. The request is the same, both in AS3 and in JavaScript.
When publishing to the feed using postMediatopic, you can specify a larger image 492x364, this increases the virality / clickability and increases the transitions. You can test postMediatopic and at the development stage for this you need to request permissions at [email protected]
