How to test compatibility with ie?

about ietester in the know. ie 9 also has a compatibility mode. but the tester is kind of miserable. and the compatibility mode is not very correct.
it would be cool if in ff \ chrome it was possible to connect a plug-in and display in what form the page should be viewed. local site - Internet services will not work
