I have such a problem.
Need to test local website (XAMP server) on Ipad mini. Can you tell me how to do it with a cable?

Plug one end of the cable into the iPad and the other end into the Mac.
Launch Safari on the iPad and open the desired site using the IP of the computer.
Launch Safari on the Mac and select the connected iPad from the Develop menu and you will have developer tools set on the iPad.
The second option is to launch the iOS Simulator on a Mac and open the desired site using the IP of the computer.
