How to temporarily push someone who doesn't know how to git into a project under git (get out)

Good afternoon. The question may seem strange ...
The designer / layout designer does not know how to use git and does not particularly strive to master it. Can only ftp. Everyone who opens the console and types a shot there automatically falls into the category of hackers-holy-holy-holy - so you won’t be able to teach in a couple of hours.
It is urgent to push it into teamwork on a project using Git. It is planned to launch the project and then figure it out along the way (either teach him or find a layout designer separately, and he will only design)
Please tell me the easiest way to get out of this situation. The option to teach / change is not very suitable. I came up with an option to give him FTP access with a copy of the project, let him upload it to his daddies via FTP, and someone will come in and merge everything into the main repository. But suddenly there is some kind of miracle program for such cases (he has MacOS)
Thanks in advance

After all, the layout designer still uses some kind of ide? Even if sublime text. There you can easily screw the git on one button.
