How to take data from xml segments to excel table?

Good afternoon.

1) There is an xml file, formed in SAP. SAP acts as a system that consolidates data and generates xml with this data.
2) there is a document in excel format.

Question: Is it possible to specify in the cells of the document from which segments to take information?

The option to simply insert the xml as a table is not yet considered, ie. formulas is possible, but it is difficult to make all the links.

Just to clarify, this is a temporary solution. The system, which should receive xml and convert it into a document format with filled fields, does not have time to complete the converter.
