Interested in a program for windows 7, for synchronizing Google contacts. The program should have the ability to edit and conveniently search for contacts.

Google sync with what? from Windows 7 itself? Is there a contact manager?
If you just need to backup and manage contacts, then any more or less sane email client will do.
