How to sync google contacts with iOS normally?

Hello!
Stupid question of course, but I have a small but insanely annoying problem when syncing contacts between Google Contacts and iPhone - when creating a contact in Google Contacts, I upload a high-res photo, but when syncing with iPhone, the image is cut, that is, in other words on the iPhone the contact photo is displayed as a small icon, while if you upload a photo from the iPhone, the photo will be displayed in full screen. Who faced a similar problem?
