How to sync contacts between mac and gmail?
Hello!
Please tell me how you can synchronize contacts between google contacts and mac (and preferably also with iPad and other devices). I've been tossing around for a long time, the standard synchronization through "Contacts" for some reason does not upload pictures to contacts (I tried through contacs sync for google mail, for some reason it only uploads 6 photos), methods by adding in the form of Exchange also do not give anything. I would like to understand how, I hope it is simple (it's poppy pancake) you can make single contacts between gmail, mac and ios? And at the same time, so that they are constantly synchronized, that is, if you change the contact in gmail, the same thing will happen on mac and ios. Is it possible? Please tell me, I've been fighting for a week now.

Mac OS X 10.8
On Mac, open the Contacs account settings - d.pr/i/S6UC
On iOS, set up Exchange but also enable contact synchronization. Be careful, all existing ones on the device will be deleted.
In the latest versions, the possibility of simple synchronization with google was cut out, so if you use apple products, I recommend transferring contacts to icloud.
On my iPad with the latest firmware (without jailbreak), synchronization with Google Contacts via Exchange works fine. All contacts, letters and calendars are synchronized without problems. There is even information on the Google support page.
