How to switch tabs on Bootstrap with arrows like in carousel?

Good afternoon. Bootstrap has a ready-made solution for tabs (Tabs). How to make them switch not by clicking on a specific tab, but by clicking on the left and right arrows. It means not from the keyboard, but the usual arrow icons. As in the same Bootstrape in the carousel plugin. Unfortunately, I don't know much about javascript. I tried, but it doesn't work :( I would be grateful for any help.
