How to switch mysql slave to master when replicating multiple databases?
Good day, dear All.
The task is to transfer several relatively loaded sites to another server with minimal downtime. Mysql (Percona 8.0) is used as a database.
I set up replication between the old and new server using GTID, the databases are synchronized. I would like, one by one, transferring the databases from slave to master, transfer all sites one by one.
The question arises: is this even possible? All found manuals mention doing a reset master - which, as far as I understand, will lead to a break in the transaction chain. Is it possible, by sequentially adding databases to replicate-ignore-db, to make them masters separately?
