How to swap audio channels?

I noticed that the left reproduces the sound of the right and vice versa.
Everything would be fine if I did not forget the name of the software that can fix it. Somebody knows?

This software is called a "driver" and its control panel is called either through the sound properties, or through the control panel and, possibly, the applet of this driver present there.
