How to substitute text from a cell into a formula?

I have a formula that works for a very large range of cells, but for it to work correctly, you need to enter the name of the city you want to search for and sum the values \u200b\u200bside by side. Is it possible to somehow set it so as not to enter hundreds of city names manually, but to specify the cell from which this text should be substituted?

for example NOT =SUMIF(B1:B1100; "London"; C1:C1100) but =SUMIF(B1:B1100; "cell K3"; C1:C1100)

You basically wrote the formula. instead of "cell K3", just put K3, without quotes, this will be a reference to the cell.
=SUMIF(B1:B1100; K3; C1:C1100)
