How to subscribe to a calendar event in android studio?

Actually, I am making a system for a smart home in Android Studio that will be launched on a phone / tablet.
Essentially a smart home server and its control panel. "Spinal cord" is implemented on arduino.
Task: when a calendar event is triggered, this application must intercept it and see what command is written in the event description.
Through this, I want to organize various planned events, such as watering the lawn, turning on night lighting, etc.
I can reach the event through CalendarContract.Events but I would like to somehow automate the process, and not check in the loop whether the time has come for the event or not :)
