How to style Google Maps?

Hello everyone, the problem is that I don't know how to style the map. Someone in the articles says to get an API KEY, someone doesn’t, everyone has it differently, but I don’t see the map output in anyone in the examples, maybe I’m doing something wrong, to add a map I just go to https ://www.google.ru/maps , enter the address and click Link/code and it gives me an iframe, I paste it on the site and everything is fine, but in all the articles that I read, there is no iframe at all, because where did they get the card? Can someone give a little instruction, starting with the point on how to correctly insert the card and ending with the fact that you just need to change the entire background of the card to a blue transparent color (as if there is a rectangular card, a blue rectangle was superimposed on it and transparency was set to it).
