How to stream multiple musicians at the same time?

Hello.
The task is to organize a simultaneous video stream of a musical group consisting of several musicians live, in real time from different physical locations. So far, at least on one platform - YouTube.
Of the equipment - only a smartphone for each musician and home Wi-Fi. The smartphone can be either Iphone or Android (this is still unknown).
At the output, you need to get a general picture, where there will be two, three or four windows on the screen with the faces of these same musicians. At the same time, to get a continuous sound and the musicians heard each other. As far as it is technically possible at all, will there be any failures, delays, etc.?
Thanks in advance.

I have not personally tried it myself: but I will explain the idea:
The essence is in synchronous playing under a metronome at the same time. Or under the playback.
Synchronization goes programmatically in the audio program.
There is such a program Ableton Live - a digital audio editor for writing songs.
It is tailored for live so that they have the option of synchronizing two or more programs for simultaneous play.
One program is Master, the rest are Slaves.
The essence of the task:

  • Every home should have a PC / laptop.
  • The same version of the program is installed (you can install a trial version of the office for free for 90 days).
  • Bring all computers into one virtual local area network (I remember that for some kind of strategy they did this in order to play over the network, you had to connect locally - they did a feint with their ears)
  • On all versions of the program, the same track or play back (only rhythm is possible), or in general, only a metronome
  • The master version of the program starts, the rest of the slaves first drive the pace a little more to catch up with the master, then when they catch up they level out (they are corrected by the ping of the packets). The master program for example will always have 120pbm or 110pbm for example, the rest will float a little to keep in sync.
  • Well, then zoom or analog and collect the video.
  • And it's good if everything is via home Wi-Fi, so the video delay should be less.

And in case of a completely complete improvisation with a floating rhythm, there is a tempo analyzer for the 10th version of the program in Max For Live based on the input signal from the microphone. For example, from a barrel and a worker.
And in the new version 11, which will be released in 2021, this option will already be standard in the program, and not through Max For Live.

On the public Internet, this is virtually impossible. The delay in the transfer of video between musicians will not allow them to play smoothly. In a normal conversation, we are already used to a slight delay, but even a delay of a hundred milliseconds will bring complete discord in the game of musicians.
