How to store data on Heroku?

Hello. I made a telegram bot that notifies about the release of updates on the site. The check is done by comparing the ID of the old record with the new one received. This ID needs to be stored somewhere. Initially I wanted to store it in a text document, but after a while heroku resets it to its original content. Are there any solutions other than using a third-party database?
