How to stop spontaneous page refresh in Chrome?

Around the beginning of this year, I noticed a new strange behavior behind the browser. If there are several open tabs (I always have at least 3 and then it reaches several dozen), then when you return to a previously fully loaded tab after a certain short period of time (it feels like 10 minutes), it suddenly starts to be completely loaded from the server. This is an interesting behavior, and for someone who cares about the relevance of information, it can be useful, but it annoys me more.
The most frequent cases. I open several articles from the open news feed and plan to open a few more after studying them, but when I return to the news line, I see a re-request to the server and the updated feed is already on the screen, and the news I noticed has already gone to another page (in the case of "most interesting" aggregators - this is generally a verdict, since links that have left the screen can no longer be returned). Also, very often I leave videos or podcasts on pause to watch and listen to them later, but when you return to the page, playback starts from the beginning :(
I suspect that this behavior can be somehow disabled. Thank you in advance for the hint.
PS If information on add-ons is important, then "Adblock plus" and "Ghostery" are active.

@Dementor

Open chrome://flags/ and search for "tabs". There is "Automatically delete the contents of tabs" and "Automatically reload only active tabs"
