At the age of 6 I got my first computer "Sura PK8000". At this time, I even copied some programs from books. How are children of this age taught the basics of programming now? Books, some kind of simplified computers, courses?

Intuit.ru has algorithms for schoolchildren, etc.
codeacademy.com clearly teaches, and code.org is even better, especially since many well-known IT people support it.
