I have experience in developing websites on Bitrix and Wordpress engines.

Better learn Symfony https://symfony.com/, because drupal 7 and drupal 8 are two big differences and drupal 8 is written in symfony, but if you know symfony then drupal becomes unnecessary.
There is a lot of magic in drupal and any other CMS compared to symfony and it is pointless to learn this magic.
With the knowledge of symfony, your salary can be much higher and it will be much easier to find a job, and projects with poor database architecture will be less common.
Symfony learns faster than drupal.

Accordingly, Drupal was somewhere in the middle, and sometimes allowed to get into the "golden mean".
Now this middle does not exist, because in modern WordPress, probably everything that makes sense to do in Drupal is done with a mouse.
And in tasks where a large amount of coding is required, Drupal does more harm than good, and here it is better to take a frame like Laravel.
