Advise where to start learning (mastering) CMS WordPress?
I want to learn the principles of layout, as well as fully work with this CMS.
Previously dealt only with CMS Data Life Engine.
There is knowledge of HTML, CSS - confidently, PHP, jQuery - only the basics.
Preferably video materials and books.

First, I always get acquainted with the structure (schema) of the database, in the case of WordPress - it is very simple. It is not necessary to understand everything, but the data structure gives a very clear idea of the system.

Set yourself a task and implement it, for example, write a plugin, then a theme. And then there will be at least some idea of the work of the CMS.
In general, all these video courses without practice, it's like learning to drive by watching a video :)
