How to start learning asp.net?

The study was prompted by the need to write a diploma and, accordingly, the desire to earn further development on this platform (meaning WEB development).
There is practically no knowledge behind, except for the basics of C # and HTML / CSS.
Tell me, please, from which side to approach this direction, in order to eventually grow into a professional and earn money?
What do you need to learn to lay, let's say, the foundation?
Where is the best place to get information?
At what level can you look for a job as a junior and how common / accessible is this area?
Thank you.

Hello Skilledpwnz !
If you really have a good C# knowledge base, then diving into asp.net should not be difficult, after all, this is just a technology for creating web applications, and not a new programming language! :)
If I were you, I would start by studying the architecture of asp.net, how it works when the script is executed.
The foundation will lay a good understanding of the principles of client-server applications, architecture and basic features of asp.net. Everything else will come with experience.
Naturally, I would take information from a good book from a good author, I recommend:
Do not be intimidated by the words "for professionals", the authors perfectly set out the whole point and give enough practice for a full start.
If you know English then:
Read an article on Habré about the new ASP.NET 5
Think up tasks for yourself and try to implement them, experience is gained from mistakes. I think you will quickly master the basics through the book. And there already once and ADO.net, caching, .NET components, MVC.
Good luck!
