How to start a virtual machine after conversion?

Using qemu-img, I converted a virtual machine from vmdk format (VMware Workstation) to qcow2 (KVM). How to run it after conversion? If you create a KVM virtual machine from scratch, you can start it with virsh.

VMDK is not a machine, but only its disk, so you only converted the disk.
(configuration of the machine itself - VMX)
Now create a new machine with the necessary hardware, settings, OS, etc., and select the converted one as the disk.
