You have only two options - either encode with High Capacity Color Barcode which will give you about five times the area optimization, or place the link code instead of the code itself, but this is not so interesting, of course.
Do not try to do something stupid and apply a real tattoo under the skin, those draw a tattoo from above with the help of transfer stickers (I know for sure that it is possible to print such on a printer). It is interesting and fun for you now and for a maximum of the next few years, and damaged skin is for life, so only washable options are allowed.
