How to split the server into 3 parts to host 3 sites?

There is a desire to make a server for 3 sites on a regular computer. Sites will only work on the local network. How to divide it into 3 parts to accommodate 3 sites. Each site must be rigidly assigned part of the RAM, part of the disk. ubuntu axis. Another question: is it possible for these sites to work on different versions of ubuntu. If you make virtual machines in the apache2/site-available folder, then the resources will be shared. I would like to separate. Please write a title. I will google further on this word.

In short, there is no ubuntu right away, centos is better, but since you want something debian, then install xubuntu, it is faster. Then you roll kvm onto it, and add three virtual machines to it, also on xubuntu, for example. And that's it

In general, if you do not plan to raise Windows, only Linux, it is easier and more transparent to use OpenVZ. Memory, disk, processor and much more can be tweaked on the go, the core is shared, files can be seen/grepped/seded in one heap if desired, there is an OpenVZ Web Panel for mouse fuss, where you can even distribute access to administration...

Well, here I see two options: 1 - virtualization, 2 - containers. For the first, google about kvm, xen. For the second - lxc, openvz. Read about it and choose what you like.
For your task, I would look towards containers, which are less resource-intensive.
