How to split a server in half?

There is a server, two IPs need to split the server in half, how best to do?
what main wasps to deliver to virtualize both windows and linux?
I suppose to install windows server core and run two virtual machines (hyper-v or vmware), and they already have ubuntu with dockers and windows server for example from 1c ..

I suggest to install any normal hypervisor
like ESXi ( VMware vSphere Hypervisor )

Proxmox is optimal. Only one more IP will be needed.

Windows for the hypervisor requires a license, i. money, to use as a guest is the same.
Linux does not require money + any free hypervisor.
Just as the hypervisor can be used with VMWare ESXi, it can be used separately from VSphere in the free version, there are certain limitations. This is a specialized OS tailored for a Linux-based hypervisor.

You all rightly thought - towards Windows Hyper-V Server. Excellent and free hypervisor.
But console - without GUI.
If you set it up and let it work, it's a great option.
If you want a management interface - VMWare EXSi will still be more convenient.

well, if you know how to do everything on Windows on it and do why something to fence too much and what you don’t know how

It is necessary to deliver ESXi - the lonely server will free of charge give. It is impossible to raise anything inside, though it is impossible to manage all this economy from the inside (without perversions). If you absolutely need everything on one computer - linux, KVM (qemu + libvirt), management equipment and the same thing, just a little differently.

The question is what kind of server (what piece of hardware) is it and what do you want from it.
Maybe you have already planned a million things for yourself there, but in reality, productivity is not even half enough.
The specificity of 1s requires one iron, and, say, database - another.
Based on what kind of hardware and what kind of software you will install, the decision depends.
One of the options, if there is already Windows for 1s, then we put Windu on the hardware and raise 1s. We also raise the hypervisor there. In the hypervisor, we raise all sorts of other virtual machines we need.

Hello!
Consider a few options below:
Option #1 - Install a unix system with Proxmox virtualization
To do this:
1. Download proxmox and install it on the server.
2. Create instances with the desired systems.
This option is best suited if you have a fairly powerful server.
Option #2 - Install QEMU/KVM virtualization.
Lots of installation instructions.
This option is suitable if you have experience in administration of unix systems and (optionally) in virtualization.
